What is Anita working on Now ?

The new CD of Anita will be coming out at around March time! Actually the CD album was schedule to be released in July, but changes in the Capital Records Company caused a delay in the release date of Anita's Album!
Anita still commonly appear's in charity functions......if you see her let me know where and when you saw Anita!

Title: Concert delayed

Singer Anita Mui's proposed concert this year will have to be postponed.
The concerts Mui and fellow singer Jenny Tsang had wanted to stage during the handover at
the Hong Kong Coliseum will be pushed to a later date since the venue is fully booked until
1998.
Mui and other singers with her record company will get together to help celebrate the
company's 25th anniversary.

Anita's new song "Night Snake" appeared at #16 on RTHK's Pop Chart last week. This week it moved up
to #10. So far, the song has not made it into the Top Ten range of the other charts yet :-(
Let's hope the song continues its upward moving trend.

Singer Anita Mui was a guest presenter at an award ceremony recently and Andy Lau praised her
for looking good in her stunning outfit.
Mui said that at home, she spends 15 minutes every day keeping fit and her figure slim.
Then, she spends an additional two hours exercising outdoors.
In the summer, she swims and does push-ups.
Friends have also noticed that she has become more generous and open since she visited India
recently.
Instead of throwing temper tantrums and holding grudges against people, she seems more happy
now.

Title: Mui's upbeat offering
SINGER Anita Mui has a new song. The title roughly translates to ``night
snake''.
It has a fast beat and she is confident it will be popular with her fans.
It's been a long time since Mui has come out with any new song so she is a
little anxious as to what the public response will be.
Her new album was supposed to come out last month but now it seems like it
will be out in March at the earliest.
She planned to have a series of concerts this year, but the Hong Kong
Coliseum is fully booked until 1998.
In the meantime, she will have to be satisfied with rehearsing.

Anita appeared in Leslie Cheung's concert on 31st Dec.1996 as guest performer. She performed her well-known Dream Partner and also sang a duet Destiny with Leslie. Leslie introduced Anita as the Queen of the Stage and rightly so. When reporters asked Anita about the comment she just smiled in reply.
Anita's new album has not come out yet don't really know what's going on inside Capital Artist. The company did release a compilation album called The Best and they recorded one of Anita's new songs on it called No Regrets Living sounds pretty good Anita did a great job with her strong and steady voice and showed a lot of feeling in it.

Lam Kin Ming said that she will invite Anita to her program at ATV,
every Sunday, at 22:00. I really hope that Anita can make her
time there. Also, Chan Hoi Kei, the Disc Jockey, just joined RTHK,
also said that she was going to invite Anita to her programme.
So, all the Mui's fans must pay attention to this two programme.!

I read it from the newpaper that Anita was going to have her concert
hold in HK Coliseum this October, actually I prefer the concert
to be held in HK Stadium, anyone agree???
Also, the last thing, I dislike people keep saying that Sammi Cheng
can replace Anita on stage, I have see the pictures of her concert
it's just like the copy of our Anita's concert, she still need at
least 10 to 15 years improvement, then she may one day become a
good female singer, but still can't replace ANITA.!!!

Latest Appearance

Well, Anita had her birthday last week (10th October) and had a gathering with her fans in a restaurant... she sang a few songs and thanked her fans for their continuous support....
The latest show that Anita has showed up is the TVB's Singing contest! She is the chief judge for that contest. She wore a black velvet long dress that night. And she performed her winning song "The season of wind" with a group of the TVB's Singing contest winner : Andy Hui, Edmund Leung....etc.
Another occasion in which Anita appears recently is a concert held by RTHK and she is the last performer singing more than half a dozen of songs!
